About our Company
M2 Mechanical is jointly owned by Judi and Steve Sewall. M2 is the second venture for the Sewalls. They sold their previous company, Tradewinds Mechanical Services, in 2009 to Lennox, Intl.
This new opportunity again combines Judi’s experience in marketing and public relations with Steve’s business management acumen, and as always, at the core of the company is a commitment to service.
In 2017 M2 Service Group acquired NEMA (New England Mechanical Associates) which enables us to offer quality heating and air conditioning solutions for commercial installations, retrofits, and 24/7 service, as well as heating repair, air conditioner repair, and air filtration services through our M2 Local Division.
M2 Mechanical consists of our HVAC division and our drain services which is done through the nationally recognized franchise, Rooter-Man. In each of these divisions, we talk about our M2 Values and Goals. Our goal is to have M2 name synonomous with Quality or as we say, Quality first. We value Teamwork, Integrity, Safey and continuous improvement.
Steve Sewall founded TradeWinds Mechanical Services in 1995. Sewall built TradeWinds into a multi-state, fully servicing mechanical company before selling to Lennox, Intl in 2010. “there is a certain bittersweet feeling of selling a company that you have poured your heart and soul into, but the timing couldn’t have been better. It allowed me to spend a summer in New England with my father who passed away in October of 2010.”
Judi Sewall has always worked in Public Relations and Marketing, starting with freelance writing and then small public relations firms. She was the Director of Communications for the United Way of Westchester and then Director of Marketing and part of the Senior Management team for Tradewinds Mechanical Services. She has also served on various charity Boards including Womenade of Greater Squamscott, Make A Wish of NH Annual Golf Benefit and continues to serve as a wish grantor for Make A Wish of NH.
“As a women owned business, we wanted the name of our company to reflect that,” said Judi Sewall. “We chose M2 as a tribute to all the women who have been so influential in our lives but especially my daughter Maggie and my sister Margaret. M2 for the two Margarets in our lives.”
